Located on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor coast, Dunster Beach Holidays received a delivery from Compact Electric Vehicles of an all-singing, all-dancing, all-electric utility vehicle.

Having been recommended Compact Electric Vehicles by a similar holiday park, the Capella 2HCX Lifted was brought in by Dunster Beach Holidays to navigate the varying terrain of the site and replace an older model already owned.

The tipping bed with a drop-down tailgate, hill-holding technology, off-road tyres, canopy and tinted Perspex two-piece screen make this a very versatile and well-suited buggy for the business.

Alongside that, the buggy also features a 25mph top speed, 60-80 mile range and tow hitch for a 320kg towing capacity

However, it was how the Capella performed during the on-site demo that sealed the deal. With a high 170mm ground clearance, the vehicle took on the rough terrain like a champ and performed excellently when navigating the beach, grass, mud and unmade roadways of the seaside spot in Minehead.

The vehicle is going to make a huge difference to Dunster Beach. It will not only help them work more efficiently but also more sustainably!
